BENEFITS OF CBD

  • What is CBD?

CBD (cannabinoid) is a phyto-cannabinoid that is found in both the cannabis and hemp plant and it was identified as 1 of the 113 cannabinoids in cannabis plants. Most CBD and its products in the market are usually extracted from hemp plants, which contains 0.3% THC, which is then sold in various products such as soft gels, oral spray, gummies, supplements, extracts and more.  Because of the passing of the Farm bill in 2018, there have been advances in CBD processing and consumption methods within the last few years.  The most common product, CBD Oil, has become more widespread within the general public. Scientists are currently studying the effects of CBD and have found that since CBD is a cannabinoid, it works with your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). Your ECS regulates your mood, sleep, anxiety, appetite, immune system and more.

  • What is CBD used for?

CBD is extremely popular when it comes to health and wellness among our customers. Our customers have used CBD to focus, to relax, to help with their anxiety and more.
  • What does CBD do to our bodies?

Since CBD is a cannabinoid, it produces results by attaching to the CB1 and CB2 receptors in our endocannabinoid system by attaching to the CB1 in our brain, CBD activates it, causing it to release our natural hormones: serotonin and melatonin.
At the same time, CBD attaching to our CB2 increases levels of anandamide; a chemical that protects the brain from damage from stress, decrease brain inflammation, and increase levels of adenosine, which is a molecule important for sleep.
  • Will I get high?

No. Our products are purely extracted from hemp plants, which contains 0.3% THC.
Such a small percentage isn’t enough to create an intoxicating effect.
  • Is Hemp the same as Marijuana?

No. Though the two plants are close relatives, they have very different ways of affecting the body.
Marijuana contains a higher concentration of THC – the psychoactive compound that is known to create a high.
In contrast, hemp plants contain less than 0.3% THC, while having higher levels of CBD (the good stuff) that is known for helping overall wellness in human bodies.
  • Are all CBD products online the same?

Unfortunately, no. While you search for CBD products that are best for you, please be aware of the high rise of unreliable products that are hidden within the market.
Research has shown that some CBD products from other websites have less CBD than they advertise. Here are some important things to look out for when searching for CBD online.

    • Has the product been tested?
    • Does the product use natural CBD?
    • Does the company claim that CBD cures illnesses?
    • Does the company sell cheap CBD?
    • Does the company claim that their CBD will not show up on a drug test?

Please know that Living Tree takes pride in its products and that we offer our products with our customer’s wellbeing and health in mind.

  • What are the benefits of taking CBD?

As much as we’d love to tell you the amazing CBD stories we’ve heard from our customers, unfortunately, we’re not allowed to tell you yet!
Currently, all CBD manufacturers are prohibited from making claims about the benefits of CBD, which was put in place by the US Food and Drug Administration.
Since CBD is relatively new in the market, there is still a lot of research and tests being done. Once these tests are approved, feel free to check back here so we can brag about how wonderful CBD truly is!
  • Are there side effects to taking CBD?

CBD oil is generally safe– but because each human has their own unique biochemistry, we highly suggest that you should consult your doctor before taking any dietary supplement.
  • Will LivingTree’s CBD help with pain relief?

Many of our customers have used our products to relieve pain. However, LivingTree’s CBD should not be used to treat or cure any serious diseases.
  • Which CBD product would be right for me?

We offer high quality CBD drops, gummies, bath bombs, pet treats and more to ensure relaxation and health wellness for our customers. If you’re new to CBD, we recommend our 30 pack CBD soft gels or our CBD Spray. Regardless, please feel free to browse our selection of products to determine which product would be perfect for you.
  • Do different CBD products have different effects?

Yes! Your body may absorb other products differently since there are so many ways to take CBD.
Edibles such as our CBD gummies are delicious and convenient if you have a busy lifestyle– while topicals are extremely popular for everyday aches and pains.
We suggest picking a product that will fit your lifestyle!
  • What is the difference between Isolate and Full Spectrum CBD?

Isolate CBD contains no other compounds from the hemp plant – including THC. Some customers seek Isolate CBD for health reasons or legal reasons. On the other hand, Full Spectrum CBD contains all the components of the hemp plant. In this type of CBD, the components can work together to create an effect known as the “entourage effect”.
The Entourage effect is the synergy between natural components in the hemp plant. Components such as flavonoids, omega acids, and terpenes work together in a way that may create a heightened sense of relief.
  • How do I use LivingTree’s CBD oil drops?

Place a full dropper of LivingTree’s CBD under your tongue and hold it for one minute before swallowing. This allows the CBD to enter your bloodstream and reach Endocannabinoid system quickly.
  • Can my pets take CBD?

They sure can! We love our furry family members just as much as you do. We want them to live healthy lives – just like us! Which is why we offer CBD cat, dog and horse treats.  Since there is no official dosage chart yet for pets (– or humans), we strongly advise consulting your veterinarian before giving CBD to your pets.
The reason why pets, specifically mammals, may be able to take CBD is because they have the same Endocannabinoid system as we do. Therefore, CBD can connect to CB 1 and CB2 receptors in their brain and activate them like it does for us. Though it hasn’t been scientifically researched yet, pet owners have given CBD to their pets to relieve anxiety and discomfort.
  • Why would I give CBD to my pets?

Many of our customers have given their pets CBD to improve their quality of life. Through anecdotal research, pet owners have given CBD to their pets to relieve pain and anxiety. LivingTree’s CBD Pet treats should not be used to cure or treat any illness your pet may have.
  • How much CBD should I give to my pet?

Assuming you’ve already spoken to your veterinarian about giving your pet CBD to improve their quality of life, we recommend starting your pet off with one treat. This allows you to keep a close eye on your pet to see how CBD affects them.
If you’re planning on increasing your pet’s dosage, we advise to talk to your veterinarian before doing so.
  • What other CBD products can I give to my pet?

We do not recommend giving your pet any other CBD products apart from CBD Treats. Living Tree’s CBD Treats is tested immaculately; we have measured the right amount of CBD that your pet should be given.
We do not recommend giving your pet CBD oil, for the concentration of CBD may be higher than the concentration of CBD in our pet treats.
  • Is CBD legal where I live?

In the United States under federal laws, CBD is legal if it doesn’t contain more than 0.3% THC, however some states have put restrictions on buyers.
Find out about the restrictions of your state here: https://plantpeople.co/cbd-legal-states/
  • Will Living Tree’s CBD products show up on a drug test?

Drug tests scan for a specific strand of cannabinoid, which is THC. Though CBD contains negligible amounts of THC, it may be enough to alarm the drug test.
Though a second screening would clear the alarm, it would be best to not use CBD if you’re due for a drug test to save yourself from additional stress.
  • Where can I find more information about the testing of LivingTree’s products?

All Living Tree products are tested multiple times to in FDA approved labs with FDA approve tests to ensure we’re giving you the best product.
On the back of every LivingTree product, there will be a scannable QR code that will directly link you to more information about our tests.
